A 15-month journey reached its end, providing high-level, condensed knowledge, not to be outdone by traditional education. After countless sleepless nights solving PSETs, dozens of exams and hundreds of homework pages, ~60 of us finally made it.
I wholeheartedly recommend the MITx on edX MicroMasters in Statistics and Data Science for anyone wanting to transition to the analytics domain and prefers a rigorous way to delve into the fundamentals of this wonderful mathematical world. Kudos to all program organisers, TAs and fellow learners that shared plenty of their time and effort, leading to this wholesome experience.

I am excited to share I have been granted a #scholarship by @MITx on edX to start a @MicroMaster Programs in Statistics and Data Science at Massachusetts Institute of Technology and developed by MIT Institute for Data, Systems, and Society (IDSS). The courses cover four pillars: #probability, #statistics, #machinelearning and #dataanalysis. They are at the same level of rigor as the residential versions at MIT. It is composed of more than 1200 challenging problems, including hands-on projects. So far, I have accomplished the first unit of Probability with a ∼80% success score. I am sure it will be worth it to strengthen my data science skills as well as commitment and resiliency. The program certificate can be applied, for admitted students, towards a PhD in Social and Engineering Systems (SES) through the MIT Institute for Data, Systems, and Society (IDSS). #datascience #artificialintelligence #dataanalytics #ai #MIT # #data
